SMR Tap Valve 3984R 20 Splines, with Red and Blue seals. [Previously called the 1212R Valve on some installation guides]. Please read below before ordering as there are certain Taps that you need to buy the original White sealed version for which is also presented here to you as an option.

Description

SMR Tap Valve 3984R

With Red Seal and Blue Seals.
The Hot Valve opens Clockwise. The Cold Valve opens anticlockwise.
Measurements:

Height 50mm / Diameter at thread 21mm / Splines 20 / Nut Height 8mm

Before ordering please read the following in case you need to order the White Sealed Version of this Valve , 1212R which you can buy here too if you click on the options to purchase.

If your own valve has White seals rather than blue or red, we would recommend that you purchase the original 1212R valve.
If your own valve is stamped ‘San Marco’ we would recommend that you purchase the original 1212R valve.
If your own Tap is over 10 years old, we would recommend that you purchase the original 1212R valve.
If you have the Averon Tap or the Emporia Tap, then you need to order the 1212R Valve. You cannot use the 3984R valve as a replacement in your Tap.
If you are unsure, then we would recommend that you purchase the original 1212R valve.

Difference between Genuine and Compatible ?

To maintain your warranty and the longevity of your Tap you should replace any parts with only Genuine Spare Parts. "Genuine" means that it is coming from the manufacturer of your own Tap. You might see the word 'Compatible' used on other websites. You might even see same Part Code BUT "Compatible" means that it does NOT come from your own Tap manufacturer. Genuine Tap Parts means that the Parts have been tried and tested in your Tap model. It also guarantees that it will fit your own Tap correctly (provided that you have selected the correct replacement Part).
