San Marco Tuscany Tap Handles
San Marco Tuscany Tap Handles 3655R (Now know as 3715R) available in three different finishes.
- Chrome, Brushed Nickel & Antique Bronze
BEFORE YOU BUY, PLEASE READ THIS :
This is a different handle from code 1300R and also, confusingly, there was a transition period when the old handle was also called 3655R as well.
To put it simply: the handle here will ONLY fit the current valve as depicted in the image below ‘New 3656R’.
The main differences between the old valve (which this handle here will not fit) and the current valve is
- the current valve has thinner splines (even though 24 splines as old valve)
- the nut on the current valve is stepped
- whereas with the old valve, the nut is different.
Please compare Your own Valve to the image of the valves below. If you need a new handle and have the old version of the valve i.e. the valve in the left of the picture called ‘discontinued 1301R/3656R), then you would need to purchase a new valve to go with the new handle.

Don’t rely on the logo on your tap if it is the New Plain Logo to identify which Valve you need i.e. if you have Old Logo, then you know for sure that you need a new valve and a new handle.
If it is the New Plain Logo, we still advise to check your own valve (check the nut) to know whether or not you have the New or Old Valve (if you are replacing the handle or valve).

Difference between Genuine and Compatible ?
To maintain your warranty and the longevity of your Tap you should replace any parts with only Genuine Spare Parts. "Genuine" means that it is coming from the manufacturer of your own Tap. You might see the word 'Compatible' used on other websites. You might even see same Part Code BUT "Compatible" means that it does NOT come from your own Tap manufacturer. Genuine Tap Parts means that the Parts have been tried and tested in your Tap model. It also guarantees that it will fit your own Tap correctly (provided that you have selected the correct replacement Part). We have had customers who fitted compatible parts in their taps and damaged other connecting parts in the process. It can work out more costly in the end to use Compatible parts.
