San Marco Bellagio Tap Valve
The earliest Bellagio Tap took the 1212R Valve (20 splines) and this was replaced with the 3505R (28 splines). We have put up examples of earlier Tap (20 spline valve) and later Tap (28 spline valve) BUT we would still recommend that at a minimum you remove your own handle and check the spline count & measurements provided below before ordering to ensure that you order the correct valve i.e do not assume that just because your tap looks like the earlier or later model, that this guarantees the valve inside your tap as there could have been a transition phase during manufacturing. Difference between Genuine and Compatible ?
To maintain your warranty and the longevity of your Tap you should replace any parts with only Genuine Spare Parts. "Genuine" means that it is coming from the manufacturer of your own Tap. You might see the word 'Compatible' used on other websites. You might even see same Part Code BUT "Compatible" means that it does NOT come from your own Tap manufacturer. Genuine Tap Parts means that the Parts have been tried and tested in your Tap model. It also guarantees that it will fit your own Tap correctly (provided that you have selected the correct replacement Part). We have had customers who fitted compatible parts in their taps and damaged other connecting parts in the process. It can work out more costly in the end to use Compatible parts.
