If your Akron Tap is dripping where the Spout meets the base then you might need to replace your Akron Tap O Ring Kit.

1212R Quarter Turn Kitchen Tap Valve Valve Hot or Cold

The Hot Valve opens Clockwise. The Cold Valve opens Anti-Clockwise.
