Description

Rangemaster TRS1 Tap Valve

This is a very old discontinued tap and the valves used in it back then are no longer available.  We have a version of that old valve, the 1212R with white seal, and have fitted this valve with mixed success.

Please check your own valve, even if 20 splines, to the details here (especially the nut height as if your own nut height is lower than 8mm, it is possible that the current 1212R valve would cause a gap between the handle and the black detail on your tap).  If not sure, then email us your own measurements plus picture of your own valve and whatever markings are on your own valve to sales@tapsandsinksonline.co.uk.

Here is our Guide 7 Easy Steps to replace Kitchen Tap Valve.

Here are our own valve measurements.

    Overall height: 50mm
    Nut Height: 8mm
    Diameter at thread: 21mm
    Splines: 20
    Height of Splines: 8mm

This is a Genuine Spare Part you are buying here.

Difference between Genuine and Compatible ?

To maintain your warranty and the longevity of your Tap you should replace any parts with only Genuine Spare Parts. "Genuine" means that it is coming from the manufacturer of your own Tap. You might see the word 'Compatible' used on other websites. You might even see same Part Code BUT "Compatible" means that it does NOT come from your own Tap manufacturer. Genuine Tap Parts means that the Parts have been tried and tested in your Tap model. It also guarantees that it will fit your own Tap correctly (provided that you have selected the correct replacement Part). We have had customers who fitted compatible parts in their taps and damaged other connecting parts in the process. It can work out more costly in the end to use Compatible parts.
