- Is this a Genuine Carron Phoenix Tap part ? Yes it is.
- I think there is a hole in the spout, what do I need? If there is a hole in the spout, you will need to purchase a whole new spout.
- My tap is leaking at the base of the spout, what do I need? If your Tap is dripping where the Spout meets the Base only, then you just need to replace your O Ring Kit.
- My tap is leaking at the top of the spout, what do I need? If your tap is dripping from the top of the spout, you need to replace the valves.
- What do I need to remove the spout? You need a 2.5mm Allen Key.

Difference between Genuine and Compatible ?
To maintain your warranty and the longevity of your Tap you should replace any parts with only Genuine Spare Parts. "Genuine" means that it is coming from the manufacturer of your own Tap. You might see the word 'Compatible' used on other websites. You might even see same Part Code BUT "Compatible" means that it does NOT come from your own Tap manufacturer. Genuine Tap Parts means that the Parts have been tried and tested in your Tap model. It also guarantees that it will fit your own Tap correctly (provided that you have selected the correct replacement Part). We have had customers who fitted compatible parts in their taps and damaged other connecting parts in the process. It can work out more costly in the end to use Compatible parts.
