Description
3668R O Ring Kit
The current 3668R O-Ring Kit (previously known as the 1260R, which did not include the small white PTFE ring) contains 2 black O-rings, 2 white PTFE rings, and a grub screw.
Depending on the age of your spout, you may only have a single white PTFE ring. These white PTFE rings generally don’t need to be replaced unless they are damaged. In more recent versions, the manufacturer has added a smaller white PTFE ring for added stability.
If you have the older 1260R O-ring kit, you will not need this smaller ring. However, we recommend not replacing the white PTFE rings unless they are broken.

Current 3668R (1260R) O Ring Kit
- We always recommend that you should check your own Spout before ordering a new set of O Rings.
- This is important because if your spout has a pinhole (see example below), replacing the O-ring kit won't resolve the issue.
- If you have a pinhole you will need to replace the entire Spout'

- If you think that you have a pinhole, and do not know what Spout you need, then contact us with details of your tap, such as a picture and any other information (e.g., brand markings), so we can send you a link to the correct spout.

Tip when changing the O Ring Kit :
- Usually, only the black O-rings need replacing unless one of the white O-rings is damaged.
- Some white O-rings have an intentional split for use in spouts with a grub screw, so a split does not indicate it is broken.
- Your new O-ring kit may include extra rings not needed for your spout, as some kits were later updated with a smaller ring for added stability.
- Use plumber's grease or washing-up liquid to aid movement, but avoid vaseline as it can damage the rubber.

- Genuine = Proper fit, tested by the Manufacturer
- Compatible = Not made by your Tap’s brand. May not fit or last.
