Lamona Victorian Tap4810 FAQ
- Is this a Genuine Howdens Tap part? Yes it is.
- How do I know which Valve to order? You need to determine where the drip is coming from e.g cold water feed or hot water feed. If in doubt, order a pair. There are more detailed tips / advice here. This Blog post My Kitchen Tap is dripping should explain the most common causes (and parts required) to fix a dripping Kitchen Tap.
- How do I access the Valve? You need a 2mm allen key to loosen the grub screw underneath the handle. See below for our DIY Guides.
- My valve looks wider and different from the pictures here / the one I ordered? Sometimes the bush and valve stick together and come out as one piece. The bush is the round extra piece of Brass that surrounds the valve. See the images below. You can order the Bush part separately if needed. It is one Bush per Valve.
- How do I separate the Brass Bush from the Valve? Check out this guide here.
- My tap is leaking at the base of the spout, not the top, what do I need? If your Tap is dripping where the Spout meets the Base then you might need to replace your O Ring Kit.
