Description
Lamona Rhone Brushed Cashmere Tap3459 Valve
Replace the Valve in your Lamona Rhone Brushed Cashmere Tap if your tap is dripping from either the tip of the spout e.g the aerator end, or from the handle.
Please note that the original 3547R Valve has been discontinued c. 2014 and the replacement 3547R has a flatter seal (from 2015 onwards).
- Where your Valve is stamped 2014 or earlier: Please select the Valve 4276R, which is a two threaded Valve. It will look different than your own one threaded valve but it is the Valve that you need because it has a larger white seal underneath
- Where your Valve is stamped 2015 or later: You can select the 3547R one threaded valve which is the same valve that is in your Tap.
- Please note that rarely, a customer, when fitting the 4276R valve with white seal underneath, reports a slight gap between handle and body of the tap. This is due to the larger white seal. This seal will flatten with use. If you wish to buy the 3547R and your tap continues to drip, we will not replace under 1 year warranty if your Tap is 2014 or older. Please retain your old valve as proof of age of your own Tap. The valve will have a date stamped on it.

- How do I know which Valve to order? You need to determine where the drip is coming from e.g cold water feed or hot water feed. If in doubt, order a pair. There are more detailed tips / advice here. Difference between Genuine and Compatible ?
To maintain your warranty and the longevity of your Tap you should replace any parts with only Genuine Spare Parts. "Genuine" means that it is coming from the manufacturer of your own Tap. You might see the word 'Compatible' used on other websites. You might even see same Part Code BUT "Compatible" means that it does NOT come from your own Tap manufacturer. Genuine Tap Parts means that the Parts have been tried and tested in your Tap model. It also guarantees that it will fit your own Tap correctly (provided that you have selected the correct replacement Part). We have had customers who fitted compatible parts in their taps and damaged other connecting parts in the process. It can work out more costly in the end to use Compatible parts.
