Valve details:
- This Franke Olympus U Tap Valve has two sets of threads: One Set ABOVE the Black O Ring and One Set BELOW.
- Nut Height: 8mm, Splines: 28, Overall height: 53mm, Diameter at thread: 21mm
Due to modifications in this Tap by the manufacturer over the years, we supply the original white sealed version of this valve (larger seal underneath). We use code 4276R to distinguish from later valve used in the Tap which has a coloured flatter seal. This is a genuine Spare Part. Parts are labelled Hot & Cold. If opened and you cannot tell apart, as both Hot & Cold Valves have white seals underneath: the Hot valve opens Clockwise and has nicks on the side of the nut. The Cold Valve opens Anticlockwise and has no nicks.
Franke Olympus Triflow & Franke Olympus Trispray.
- These two Taps were discontinued Spring 2011
- You can find the Valve for these Two earlier Taps Here
Olympus Valve Bush
- You might require the Olympus Bush for Valve as well.
- This is a brass cylindrical piece that surrounds the valve inside the Tap.
- Sometimes the Valve and the Bush stick together and look like one part when removed. See example image below
- If you require this Valve Bush (one per valve), the same part number SP3868 is used on both Hot and Cold Valve.
3561R Valve in Tap with Handle Removed. Wide Part is Bush surrounding Valve that may or may not come out stuck to the valve.
- The Part SP3868 Bush for Valve is a separate part, and does not come with the Valve.
To illustrate what a bush is :
If the Franke Olympus U Tap Valve is stuck inside the Bush then you will have to separate them OR buy a Bush as well.
It is one bush per valve which you can buy here

Here is our Guide How to remove the Handle on your Kitchen Tap.
