It’s not uncommon to find that the Kitchen Tap Valve you remove looks different from the one in the picture or the one you purchased from us. This is usually because the brass bush is still attached to the old valve.

If you’re installing a new valve and the existing brass bush cannot be separated from the old one, you may need to buy the Franke Olympus Bush. However, if you’re able to remove the valve without taking off the brass bush, you likely won’t need this spare part. Additionally, if simply replacing the valve stops the leak, you can return the brass bush for a refund.

If the Valve is stuck inside the Brass Bush then you will have to separate them OR buy a Brass Bush as well.
