- Is this a Genuine Franke Tap part ? Yes it is.
- What size allen key do I need to remove the Handle ? You will need a 2.5mm allen key which you can buy here if required. Loosen this screw to remove the handle. See below for our DIY Guides.
- What tools do I need to remove this valve ? This valve is countersunk into the tap so you will need a 14mm socket and ratchet.
- Do you include the white handle insert with the Valve? No. This is a separate part that fits over the valve onto which the handle is fixed. If you need it you can buy it here .

Difference between Genuine and Compatible ?
To maintain your warranty and the longevity of your Tap you should replace any parts with only Genuine Spare Parts. "Genuine" means that it is coming from the manufacturer of your own Tap. You might see the word 'Compatible' used on other websites. You might even see same Part Code BUT "Compatible" means that it does NOT come from your own Tap manufacturer. Genuine Tap Parts means that the Parts have been tried and tested in your Tap model. It also guarantees that it will fit your own Tap correctly (provided that you have selected the correct replacement Part). We have had customers who fitted compatible parts in their taps and damaged other connecting parts in the process. It can work out more costly in the end to use Compatible parts.
