Further Spout information:
- This is a genuine Part.
- It does not come with plumbers grease / silicone grease as these spouts come in brand new from the manufacturer. You can buy this in any local DIY store.
- This Spout originally came with the O Ring Kit 3617R that has 3 rings.
- Subsequently the manufacturer added in an extra small white ptfe O Ring, so new O Ring Kit is 2268R (SP2268), and still uses same Spout Code SP2553 / 2553R as whichever O Ring Kit is on your own Spout, the new Spout is compatible with older Tap models and should you just need to replace the O Ring Kit only, then you just swop like for like (we always advise never to replace your own white PTFE rings, unless they are damaged, broken.
- This spout includes the O Ring Kit SP2268, which you can also buy here and includes Tap Aerator SP2266, which you can buy here.
- You will need a 2.5mm allen key which you can purchase here.

Difference between Genuine and Compatible ?
To maintain your warranty and the longevity of your Tap you should replace any parts with only Genuine Spare Parts. "Genuine" means that it is coming from the manufacturer of your own Tap. You might see the word 'Compatible' used on other websites. You might even see same Part Code BUT "Compatible" means that it does NOT come from your own Tap manufacturer. Genuine Tap Parts means that the Parts have been tried and tested in your Tap model. It also guarantees that it will fit your own Tap correctly (provided that you have selected the correct replacement Part). We have had customers who fitted compatible parts in their taps and damaged other connecting parts in the process. It can work out more costly in the end to use Compatible parts.
