Description

Genuine Franke Atessa Filter Tap Valve

Here is our Guide 7 Easy Steps to replace Kitchen Tap Valve.

Measurements:

  • Nut Height: 8mm
  • Splines: 28
  • Overall Height: 53mm
  • Diameter at thread: 21mm

You can buy the 3561R which comes with red or blue seals underneath. Early installation guides list the 1427R (aka 4276R) which comes with a white seal underneath. This white seal is slightly larger than the blue / red seal in later 3561R. We recommend always the white seal version, and especially so if your Tap is old.

  • It can be a common enough problem that when you remove your Kitchen Tap Valve, it looks different than the valve in the picture (or the Valve that you purchased from us). It is most likely because the brass bush is still attached.

If the Valve is stuck inside the Brass Bush then you can buy the Bush as well.  You can try and separate them but if you damage the Bush then your Tap will drip.

This Valve comes with different Brass Bushes, the most common ones are the 3868R with recess and the 3886R with lip shown below. If your brass bush is different, then contact us.

For tips on how to separate a Valve from a Brass Bush, see here.

If your Franke Atessa Filter Tap is dripping where the Spout meets the Base, then you might need to replace your O Ring Kit which can be found here.

Difference between Genuine and Compatible ?

To maintain your warranty and the longevity of your Tap you should replace any parts with only Genuine Spare Parts. "Genuine" means that it is coming from the manufacturer of your own Tap. You might see the word 'Compatible' used on other websites. You might even see same Part Code BUT "Compatible" means that it does NOT come from your own Tap manufacturer. Genuine Tap Parts means that the Parts have been tried and tested in your Tap model. It also guarantees that it will fit your own Tap correctly (provided that you have selected the correct replacement Part). We have had customers who fitted compatible parts in their taps and damaged other connecting parts in the process. It can work out more costly in the end to use Compatible parts.
