Astracast Shannon Twin Lever TP0788 Tap Valve
We have seen several versions of this tap with different valves. The valves detailed below will be the genuine valves for your tap as long as your own Tap also has SMR stamped on the valve. Please also see what your handle indicators should look like (because if your own handles do not have these indicators then the parts here might not work in your Tap.

Difference between Genuine and Compatible ?
To maintain your warranty and the longevity of your Tap you should replace any parts with only Genuine Spare Parts. "Genuine" means that it is coming from the manufacturer of your own Tap. You might see the word 'Compatible' used on other websites. You might even see same Part Code BUT "Compatible" means that it does NOT come from your own Tap manufacturer. Genuine Tap Parts means that the Parts have been tried and tested in your Tap model. It also guarantees that it will fit your own Tap correctly (provided that you have selected the correct replacement Part). We have had customers who fitted compatible parts in their taps and damaged other connecting parts in the process. It can work out more costly in the end to use Compatible parts.
