Abode Tate Tap Valve
Abode Tap Valve available in hot and cold.
Nut Height: 8, Splines: 28, Overall height: 53mm, Diameter at thread: 21mm
Due to modifications in this Tap by the manufacturer over the years, we supply the original white sealed version of this valve (larger seal underneath). We use code 4276R to distinguish from later valve used in the Tap which has a coloured flatter seal. This is a genuine Spare Part. Parts are labelled Hot & Cold. If opened and you cannot tell apart, as both Hot & Cold Valves have white seals underneath: the Hot valve opens Clockwise and has nicks on the side of the nut. The Cold Valve opens Anticlockwise and has no nicks.
Bush Part 3868R
- The valve is screwed into a round part called a bush.
- Sometimes these two parts come out stuck together i.e look like one larger part. (see images below).
- If you are unable to check this before you change the part on your Tap, then you could always order the bush as you can return for a refund if not required. It is one bush per valve .

Difference between Genuine and Compatible ?

You might see the word 'Compatible' used on other websites. You might even see same Part Code BUT "Compatible" means that it does NOT come from your own Tap manufacturer.
