Description
1425R O Ring Kit
Different Kitchen Taps take different Valves. If you know the name of your Tap, then just key it into the Product search button, but if you don’t know the name of your Tap and your Tap is drippng from the Spout, follow the instructions in this blog here.
Note on the Grub screw included with the O Ring Kit: The grub screw takes a 2.5mm allen key but we also enclose an 2mm Grub Screw. Some very old Taps that use this O Ring Kit might have slightly different grub screw so we recommend that you retain your own one just in case. In order to not damage your own one when removing, we recommend that you use the correct size Allen Key. We supply a pack containing a 2mm and 2.5mm Allen Key which you can buy here if required.
Earlier taps do not have the smaller white ptfe o ring that was added in later versions for added stability.
This is a Genuine Spare Part you are buying here.
Difference between Genuine and Compatible ?
To maintain your warranty and the longevity of your Tap you should replace any parts with only Genuine Spare Parts. "Genuine" means that it is coming from the manufacturer of your own Tap. You might see the word 'Compatible' used on other websites. You might even see same Part Code BUT "Compatible" means that it does NOT come from your own Tap manufacturer. Genuine Tap Parts means that the Parts have been tried and tested in your Tap model. It also guarantees that it will fit your own Tap correctly (provided that you have selected the correct replacement Part). We have had customers who fitted compatible parts in their taps and damaged other connecting parts in the process. It can work out more costly in the end to use Compatible parts.
Parts might be modified by the manufacturers as part of their continual improvements. We cannot always guarantee that a part will fit an older version of a product. All spare parts that do not fit can be returned for a refund excluding shipping costs.
