Clearwater Tutti Tap Spares Guide
The Clearwater Tutti looks very similar to the Franke Eiger Tap but the parts are completely different.
We do not stock the current Tutti spare parts, we have removed these parts from our website as we don’t want our Customers ordering the wrong parts and having to go to the trouble of returning.
This style of Tap is now being made by several different manufacturers, and is often mixed up too with the Franke Eiger.
So hopefully the following information will assist you in determining
- Do you have the Franke Eiger Tap
- Do you have the Clearwater Tutti or some other version of it, and you can compare your parts to the parts that we do not stock.
Below is example of Valve same as Eiger in a different Tap, but it shows the 28 splines. This valve has bush around it, 3868R (like the Eiger Tap) so when you remove your own handle, if you have the Franke Eiger Tap, then your valve / bush would look like this below. There are other ‘lookalike’ taps that take different valves, so unless you are sure that you have a Franke Tap, it is worthwhile removing the handle and checking. The Franke Eiger Handle takes a 2mm allen key to loosen the grub screw (but place towel underneath to catch grub screw because they are so small).
Below is one example of a Tap similar to Eiger. Note the 20 spline valve
Other checks to see if you have Eiger or a lookalike Tap ? : Your own handle should have C or H etched in the top of the lever (that is not to say that other brands don’t have similar, but if your handle does not have this etching, then it is Not the Eiger). Check your own handle measurements: – does it conform to the Franke Eiger handle measurements ? Overall height – 89mm. Lever height only – 63mm
NB Please look at pictures of Valve shown with and without the Brass Bush attached before purchase. The Brass Bush is sold as a separate item as it is not always needed.
